Dan Pangburn is the brewer and one of the cooks behind the scenes at Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. With a passion for both craft beer and good food, Dan spends much of his time developing small-batch beers and working in the kitchen to create dishes that pair well with them. His approach is simple: make things the way he likes to eat and drink them.
At the brewery, Dan focuses on brewing flavorful, approachable beers that reflect the character of Maine’s coast. Each batch is brewed on site in small quantities, allowing him to experiment with styles and ingredients while keeping quality and consistency front and center.
When he’s not brewing, you’ll often find Dan in the kitchen. Many of the dishes served at Footbridge Brewery come from family recipes and years of backyard cooking, with a focus on slow preparation and bold flavor. From house-made pretzels to smoked barbecue and comfort food favorites, the goal is always the same: food that pairs well with a good pint and keeps people coming back.
